    WeldWatch™ Welding Monitoring Unit
The Sigmapi WeldWatch™ welding monitoring unit is a high performance, industrial, rugged, and ready to use system. Designed to be able to monitor most welding processes, it is built for expandability, reliability and continuous performance, even in the harshest conditions.

The unit has the following features:
  • Start and stop test remotely, either wired or wirelessly (from a PLC, for example).
  • Operator does not have to be near during data acquisition.
  • Designed to capture data in hazardous and electrically-noisy environments.
  • Captures data from up to 16 channels simultaneously.
  • Up to 1MHz sample rate.
  • Works with a wide variety of sensors (you specify what you need).
  • Everything, including sensors, cabling, and laptop, packs away into a single case for easy transportation.
  • Data is written into Microsoft Excel files for archiving or later analysis.

Portable WeldWatch Unit
 The WeldWatch™ is very versatile and has been developed in a highly modular way. We can build units that are permanently connected to welding stations or units that are fully portable (as illustrated). In fact, the first WeldWatch™ unit we produced was portable, and has travelled between sites in four different countries! What signals are monitored depends on your system and the type of welding process you are carrying out - we will ensure that the correct transducers are fitted, and that the signals are correctly monitored and logged depending on your requirements. We can also incorporate a digital I/O, allowing the unit to respond to start/stop triggers. We can even ensure our system works if the transducers are several hundred metres away from the WeldWatch™ unit.
