  Sigmapi Systems designs and builds systems that control, monitor and log temperatures, gas levels and humidity (compliant with 21 CFR 11, if required). These systems fall into the following main categories:

• chill and cold stores
• ripening rooms
• biosample repositories
• test rigs with environmental chambers (see Test & Enduance Rigs under Products & Services for further information).

Chill and Cold Stores

Our systems allow

• temperature monitoring of any number of sensors
• control of compressors, coolers and fans enable defrost, pull down and holding temperature functions
• outstation and/or master station operator control and monitoring.

Ripening Rooms

Ripening gases, such as carbon dioxide, oxygen, ethylene can be controlled automatically from a Sigmapi system so that you can individually control the ripening state of each room in your complex. Gasses harmful to humans, such as ammonium, can be monitored and levels set to trigger alarms. Full logging of alarms and alarm acknowledgements can be stored electronically and/or printed out.

Biosample Repositories

Large scale storage of biosamples can be monitored using our systems. These enable you to

• set alarm limits
• store a history of alarms as well as any changes to the system
• automatically dial out to engineers if alarm states are detected out of normal working hours
• print out histories of temperature readings
• operate the system with different levels of passwords, each with its own functionality.

All our systems allow master and/or outstation control and monitoring.
